Bruce Lee modelled Jack Dempsey’s “Dempsey Roll” (a World Heavyweight Boxing champ from 1917 to 1927) in the development of his “Straight Blasting,” a series of successive unrelenting power strikes aimed at annihilating your opponent without mercy.

“Iron Mike” Tyson both idolised and modelled the same, to obliterate his opponents in the ring as well.

Bruce went on to say,

“A man strikes you, make him bleed.

He makes you bleed, you break his bones.

He breaks your bones, kill him.

Being hit is inevitable, strike back twice as hard.”
