*SPECIAL 1-DAY EXCLUSIVE* Wing Chun Meets Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do – Sat 25 Jul 2026

July 25 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm
£90 – £125

We are hosting a SPECIAL 1-DAY EXCLUSIVE workshop: Wing Chun Meets Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do – Sat 25 Jul 2026 with Sifu Vik Hothi & Sifu Lak Loi

Step into the roots of Bruce Lee’s martial journey and discover how traditional Wing Chun evolved into the revolutionary art of Jeet Kune Do.

This rare and exclusive workshop brings together two martial arts masters to explore both the foundation and evolution of Bruce Lee’s fighting philosophy — from the authentic structure of Wing Chun to the freedom and adaptability of JKD.

The Roots of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do

Before Bruce Lee became a global icon, he was a dedicated student of Wing Chun in Hong Kong under the legendary Grandmaster Ip Man during the late 1950s.

Bruce Lee trained not only under Ip Man himself, but also extensively with one of Ip Man’s top fighters, Wong Shun-leung, who helped sharpen Lee’s practical combat skills through challenge matches and realistic fighting experience.

Wing Chun gave Bruce Lee the foundation that would later shape Jeet Kune Do:

  • Centreline theory and control
  • Sticky hands and trapping
  • Sensitivity and reaction

These principles became the blueprint for Bruce Lee’s revolutionary philosophy:

“Research your own experience, absorb what is useful, discard what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.”

What is Jeet Kune Do?

Jeet Kune Do is Bruce Lee’s revolutionary martial process of effective street fighting.

Rather than being trapped by rigid styles and fixed patterns, JKD focuses on:

  • Simplicity
  • Directness
  • Freedom

for speed-mobility-power, adaptability, real-world effectiveness, and personal expression through martial arts. Bruce Lee believed the martial artist should flow like water — adaptable to any situation, unrestricted by tradition, and focused only on what truly works.

What You Will Experience
